Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our flight was delayed but we got checked in without any issues. Even though Hotel does not offer breakfast service, they have a breakfast menu and you can order a freshly made sandwiches, tosts and salads - we recommend the Maltese Platter and the traditional ftira. The building is quite old, but the rooms are clean, all of them are AC-equipped, pretty quiet and the view from the balcony is great. Malta Public Bus stop is right next to the hotel, and Valleta ferry is also close. Excellent hotel for someone looking to spend time out sightseeing or sunbathing (public beach is just across the street). Excellent value for money for couples and travelling without kids.

It's a good value hotel in a convenient location, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. very close and buses and a ferry across to Valletta and other places you would want to go to. Keith the manager and the other staff were all very friendly and helpful. The facilities were good, though there were one or two small things, like having trouble opening the door to the balcony; it was fixed when I mentioned it, but then it went wrong again! I think the door needed a new lock. Also there was an electric kettle and cups and glasses, but it might be nice to include a few tea bags/coffee sachets, as most hotels do.

Clean budget hotel. Sea views and balcony were lovely. The room is very basic - like a private hostel room, but very nicely had a kettle, fridge and air-conditioning. Staff were very kind and let us borrow plates and heat food in the microwave at reception one night. There is a bus-stop very close to the front door where you can get the bus into Valletta.

Very clean. Well located, great for walking along the harbour, to St Julian’s, not far from the ferry port etc so perfect location for exploring. Well positioned for bars and restaurants etc too. Staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. There is a small fridge in the room and the a/c all made the stay comfortable

I'm a regular at this hotel and have always been very, very happy with all aspects of my stays. The hosts, Keith and Dina, are exceptionally lovely people and I always feel very cared for by them, for which I am very grateful. Even their assistant, Janet, is exceptionally kind and caring. Prices are excellent, cleanliness is perfect, and location is superb. I love Roma Hotel.

The staff were very friendly and the checkin and checkout process was seamless. The 24 hour front desk availability was good too. Rooms were basic but enough if you are just needing a bed and a shower for a few days

I really liked the location and the sea view. We stayed there for 3 days, and it was enough to see the Valletta city and more nearby attractions. I really loved the Japanese Bakery, that was right next door - best cappuccino I had in Malta. Also a really good breakfast place was right across the street and it had a nice sea view.
